TikTok Shot List Template
Short vertical video punishes anything slow, and it punishes anything you have to reshoot. The whole game is getting enough distinct, well-framed clips in one sitting to cut several videos out of one setup.
This list is built for batching. Set up once, work down it, and leave with material for a week rather than a post.
The shot list
Hook frames
The first frame does most of the work. Film several — you will A/B them.

Tips for this kind of shoot
- Film every hook at least three times with different first words. The hook is the only part that decides whether the rest gets watched.
- Leave the top and bottom sixth of the frame clear. Captions, usernames and buttons live there.
- Batch by setup, not by video. One lighting setup should produce several posts.
- Record a clean audio take of your voiceover even if you filmed with sound — it saves the post when a plane goes over.
