Conference Video Shot List Template

A conference is several events happening at once across multiple rooms and often multiple days. You cannot cover everything, so the list has to be a set of priorities rather than an inventory.

Agree the deliverables before day one — highlight reel, session recordings, sponsor cutdowns — because each needs different footage.

Tips for this kind of shoot

  • Agree the deliverables list before day one. A highlight reel and a set of sponsor cutdowns need different coverage and you cannot retrofit either.
  • Vox pops on day one, not day two. Attendance and enthusiasm both drop.
  • Get a full-room wide during the best-attended session. Empty seats undermine a highlight reel.

Storeyz keeps your shots in story order for planning and regroups them by location for the day — then you tick them off on your phone as you get them.
